Causes and Symptoms of Rash on Eyes
Skin rashes can affect any part of our body. An eruption on the skin of the eye is known as eye skin rash. Some of the causes of eye rashes are extreme heat, conjunctivitis, atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, HIV infection, dry skin, skin cancer, melanoma, measles, chicken pox, medications, etc. there are numerous causes for eye skin rash besides these. An eye skin rash may cause the skin around the eye to become red, inflamed and itchy. Some times blisters may also appear, these blisters can even turn itchy at times. This can be very painful and you may experience a burning sensation as well. One should not scratch the affected area as it may worsen or spread to other parts. The eye skin rash may be a symptom to a serious disease hence proper diagnosis and immediate treatment is very important. The eye rashes are a form of face rashes and its primary symptoms are similar to the other skin rashes. Hence, the treatment for eye rash is similar to the other skin rashes. An eye rash may be very dangerous and once you see any symptoms you should consult a doctor immediately.
