Allergic Skin Rash Treatment
Skin rash is an inflammation of skin which causes a change in texture and color of the affected area. It may result from the irritation, some other diseases and infections as well as allergic reactions. The allergic reactions may be due to plants, animals, food, insects, chemicals or other environmental factors. This type of skin rash can affect specific area of body or entire body. Some types of skin rashes can be contagious. Some skin rashes can occur as a result of allergy to chemicals, dyes in clothing, chemicals in latex, elastic and rubber products and allergic reactions to perfumes, cosmetics, detergents and soaps. Allergic skin rash is caused by a response to these allergens and this kind of skin rash is known as contact dermatitis. These allergic reactions can be caused to certain medications. Some people may develop allergic skin rashes due to exposure to heat or sunrays. Allergic skin rash can cause dry, red, inflamed and itchy skin. To treat this skin condition, avoid contact with allergens. Use a mild soap or only water to clean these rashes. Moisturize your skin frequently to prevent it from drying. Always try to wear clothes that are made from natural fibers like cotton. Application of olive oil, cod liver oil, Aloe Vera gel and vitamin E oil is also beneficial for the treatment of allergic skin rash.
