Causes and Treatment of Beast Skin Rash
Breast rash results from sweating or wearing an ill-fitting bra which can rub against the breast. Use of loose-fitting bra is the simple solution for this kind breast rash. Sometimes allergic reactions can occur due to the material used for making the bra. Use of undergarments made from natural fibers such as cotton is the best way to prevent such allergies. Mastitis is another common cause of breast rash which indicates the infection of breast tissue related to breast-feeding. For treating mastitis, 10-14 day course of antibiotics is recommended. Dermatitis is among the common causes of breast rash. It causes an inflammation of skin because of contact with allergen or irritant. This type of breast rash is treated with hydrocortisone cream. Itchy, scaly breast rash involving the nipple and persisting even after the antibiotics treatment can be one of the symptoms of Paget's disease of the breast. Breast rash is usually associated with mild fungal infections such as submammary Candidiasis and submammary seborrhoeic dermatitis. These rashes may typically appear red, scaly, itchy and sore. Summer days, hot and humid climates, perspiration and underwire bras can worsen the situation. These rashes created by the fungal infections are treated using antifungal creams. You should wash your undergarments in a hot wash which can kill the fungal spores and minimize the chance of reinfection.
