Candida Skin Rash
What is a candida skin rash? What are its main causes and its medications? Can anybody tell me?

Candida Causes & Symptoms
Candida skin rash is referred as Candidiasis, which is caused by Candida albicans. This yeast is usually present on the skin as a normal flora. Sometimes, this yeast grows more actively and gives rise to red, scaling, itchy rash. The symptoms of Candidiasis are creamy white patches on the throat or in the mouth, skin patches, rashes and blisters found mostly in the groin, under the breasts and between the fingers and toes. There may be development of bright red rashes in the skin folds. In infants, the Candida skin rashes are found in the diaper area. Candida skin rash may result from excess sweating, lack of movement causing skin occlusion and use of antibiotics. In severe cases, skin rashes may be accompanied by chills, fever, vomiting, nausea and rash spreading to other parts of body. The diagnosis of Candida skin rash includes taking swabs from the rashes and discharge and making their cultures to identify the causative organism. Most Candida skin rashes can be treated with prescription medications and get cured within a week. They can be healed with anti-fungal ointments and certain antibiotics. You should also keep the affected area dry and clean.
