Effects of Rashes on Children
Rash causes the change of color, texture, dry, bumpy and warm skin. In children rashes are caused due to allergies, chickenpox, and measles, Ringworm on body, sunburn, scabies and eczema. Childhood diseases have different kinds of rashes. Any kind of rash should be takes seriously and the child should be taken to the dermatologist at the earliest. Chickenpox, caused due to virus, causes sever rashes trough out the body. It is very dangerous for new born children or those with weak immune system. A vaccine is available which should be given to all the children. The rash caused during scarlet fever is not very serious but certain complications may occur in later stages. In fifth disease also called as erythema infectiosum the rash fades out when the skin is cooled. But after a hot bath it appears again in a worsen form. Appearance of the rash indicates that the child is no more contagious. Roseola normally affects children under four years of age. The rash which appears is small, flat and thin. This rash helps the doctor for diagnosis of roseola. Most of the rashes are caused by virus. Rashes are however not life threatening or dangerous. Most of the rashes do not require any kind of treatment.
