Teen Skin Care Products
Most teens face the problem of development of acne due to hormonal changes in the body. Most teens have dry and flaky skin or oily and pimple-prone skin. While using the skin care products for teens, you should understand your skin type. If your skin is oily and full of pimples, then you should choose skin care products that are formulated for oily skin. If you have dry skin, you can go for dry skin care products. The skin care products for oily skin are mostly water-based and free from oil. They are formulated with benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid to treat the pimples and acne. They should use cleansers to remove dirt and excess oil in the pores on a daily basis. Application of astringent is more suitable for them which can remove excess oil. Use of non-comedogenic moisturizer and foundation to avoid blocking of pores is recommended for oily skin. If teens experience dry, tight and flaky skin, then use of moisturizer is necessary for them. They may use the cleanser that can clean the skin without drying it. A light-weight moisturizer containing vitamin and some levels of SPF is ideal of teens with dry skin which can soften and soothe the skin. Facial treatment for teens includes light cleansing preparation, facial steaming, deep cleansing, exfoliating, mask, toning and moisturizing. Teens having sensitive skin should use the skin care products that are specially recommended for sensitive skin. It should be treated with mild and non-irritating toners and moisturizers.
