Alternative Cure for Acne Scar
Acne is a common skin disorder and may affect any person in this world. It is a chronic condition of the skin and is characterized by redness, whiteheads, blackheads, etc. though the acne lesion may last only for a certain period of time like during the ten years they may leave a life long scar on your skin. Acne scars can be compared to “ice pick” pit scars or crater like scars. To avoid scarring one should take proper treatment for acne active lesions. However, if a scar appears there are many dermatological procedures available to treat them. Procedures like dermabrasion and chemical peel involve removing the upper layers of the skin by electrical machine that abrades the skin or by chemical application. When the skin recovers from such treatments it looks smoother, fresher and rejuvenating. These procedures are effective in removing small scars, superficial scars and treating sun damaged skin. Scars can also be treated by taking injections. Injectable collagen is injected into the body to replace the body's natural collagen which is lost. It is derived from purified bovine. It is mostly used to treat wrinkles, scars and fine lines. Laser resurfacing uses high energy light to burn the damaged skin and is used to treat fine scars. Punch grafts are small grafts of skin used to replace scarred skin. A hole is punched into the damaged skin and replaced by unscarred skin.
