The more prominent signs of aging are seen from mid twenties. These signs affect the areas like face, neck, hands, etc. often the signs of aging seen on the neck are wrinkles and fine lines with age many experience skin blotchiness and spider veins on the side of the neck. They are the signs of aging skin. The neck skin is also affected by a condition called poikiloderma which is caused due to sun damage. The areas of atrophy which are white in color indicate loss of elasticity. The neck is prone to such conditions due to the thinning of skin in that region. The treatments like chemical peels and bleaching agents help in the treatment of pigmentation problems. Laser and light treatments including the pulsed laser treatment reduce the redness of the affected area. The effect may be that a mismatched coloration may occur on the neck. The chemical peel may lighten the skin color. Besides the laser treatments there are many creams, lotions, antibiotics and injections available in the market. The ingredients in them smooth the fine lines, restore the tone and firmness of the skin and make it look younger. They also rejuvenate the skin and make it healthier.
