Winter Skin Care
My skin becomes very dry in the winters only. In the summers it is normal. Is there anything special I should do for it in the winter?

Winters are a time of particular hardship for the skin. The harshness and extreme cold affect the skin worst of all. A daily routine of skin care is absolutely essential for you in order to take good care of your skin in winter. To begin with, switch to bathing with a cream-based body wash or soap. This will make sure that the creams in the body wash sty on your skin all day and that you do not suffer from deep rooted dryness at least. After a bath, you must apply a heavy moisturizer all over your body. This has to be done everyday, without fail, otherwise you will see that your skin can dry up in as little as a day.
If you have the kind of skin that is extremely dry, you must follow the same routine at night as well. This is the only way you can avoid dryness. It sounds very tedious, but do remember that there is no real recourse without it. If you do not wish to use so much cream, you can also make it a point to use olive oil at one time and cream at another. Olive oil will go a long way towards healing your dryness as well, and it is one of the best natural moisturizers in the world.
