  • Wash your face often with cold water.




  • Mix sandalwood powder with water or rose water and apply it on the face and neck and allow it to dry. Wash off with warm water. You can apply this paste on the hands too.
  • Blend tomato, cucumber, honey, and lemon juice and massage this paste from the neck and face in an upward and outward direction. Leave it for 20- 30 minutes and wash off with cold water.
  • An excellent oily skin product is the mixture of gram and green gram flour with dried and powdered rose petals and orange and lemon peels. This aromatic powder can be mixed with yogurt and lime juice and applied on the face. It is very effective in reducing oiliness. Try using it instead of soap during your bath, and you will find your skin soft and smooth.
  • Squeeze a lemon into one teaspoon of honey and apply it on your face and neck. You can sprinkle salt on the lemon and use it as a scrub to exfoliate the skin and cleanse dirt and grime.
  • Use powdered oatmeal with water as a scrub. Gram flour with a pinch of turmeric and lemon juice is also a useful scrub. These are some helpful beauty tips for oily skin. 
  • Cucumber blended with mint juice can be applied as a face mask. Other face masks can be prepared from strawberries blended with buttermilk, or papayas, carrot, and honey. Fuller’s earth mixed with lemon juice can be applied on your face, neck, and hand for glowing skin.
  • Cut a slice of potato and place it on your eyes it or apply a little castor oil for dark skin under the eyes.
  • An efficient beauty tip for oily skin is to keep your hair clean and groomed in addition to all the beauty care tips that you follow. You will find that well cared hair makes a vast difference when the skin is oily.
  • Avoid refined sugars and oily foods, but enrich yourself with vegetables, fruits, and foods rich in antioxidants such as wild blue berries, strawberries, cranberries, black beans, black plum, salmon, tea, tomatoes, and citrus fruits.
