You can remove unwanted hair using various methods. Plucking of the hair can be done to remove a few hairs. This method is not recommended for removing larger areas of hair. Waxing is also an easy method for unwanted hair removal, especially for large areas. It also has the effect of exfoliating the skin as it removes dead cells. It may sting temporarily and cause a bit of skin irritation and redness. Make sure that the wax is not too hot while applying onto the skin. Commonly available hair removal creams and lotions can also be used. These work by breaking down the protein structure of the hair shaft. You must ensure that you do a patch test before using these as they may cause allergies. Electrolysis and laser hair removal are permanents method of hair removal. They are expensive and can only be done by a licensed practitioner. Laser hair removal however needs a number of treatment sittings over many weeks.
