How to repair damaged hair by hot oil treatment for hair

How to thicken dry and damaged hair using hot oil therapy?

In today’s world, hairstyles and condition of the hair are becoming more and more prominent. Today, a hair style could stand for something as important as a belief, tradition or even a statement.  Hair styles and condition of hair are not only taken as, just a style statement, but also as a point of view or even an important factor in the diagnosis of a person’s health. Shiny hair is taken to be a sign of good health.  When in the sun, the cuticles lie flat and overlap each other very tightly and this helps them reflect the light. Hair texture can be decided by a number of reasons. Factors like an unhealthy diet and improper hair care, over use of hair fashion accessories like curling irons and blow dryers which damage the hair, reactions to certain hair care products available in the market as well as basic genetics can all contribute to what your hair looks like. Human hair will generally grow at a rate of ½ an inch in a month. Another factor in how healthy the hair will look, depends a lot on the amount of Sebum, which is a natural oil created by the sebaceous glands in the roots, is produced. The sebum tends to cover straight hair a lot better than it covers curly hair, thus causing straight hair to appear shinier.

Before you venture on your way to get a thick and soft hair on your head, you may need to repair the hair you already have. Hot oil treatments are by far the most effective method in repairing damaged hair, regardless of whether the damage was caused by overuse of curling irons, excessive coloring of the hair or even if it was affected by whether conditions.

Once you have performed the hot oil therapy and your hair has progressed to a better and healthier version, you can try the following remedies for damaged hair:
•    Massage some coconut milk or aloe vera gel into your dry flaky scalp and leave it for about ½ and hour before washing it off with water. Perform this 3 times a week for optimum results.
•    You could also try using castor oil by mixing ½ a cup of the oil with ¼ cup of water.  Massage this into the scalp before rinsing it out with some water.
•    Olive oil is also known to be very good for the hair. Apply some olive oil onto your scalp and wash it thoroughly after an hour with cold water.
