How to get rid of lip hair
Sensitive skin is prone to various infections and allergic reactions. This type of skin reacts immediately to various skin care products, cosmetics, temperature changes, pollutants and even detergents resulting in flaking, red patches or blotches. It is very essential to choose the products that you use carefully as they will influence the overall texture of your skin. Before using a product, testing it on the skin on the wrist or inner elbow is recommended to rule out the chances of a reaction. Mild natural skin care products with aloe are recommended as they are not harsh on the skin. Avoid exposing your skin to too much sunlight as this may cause sunburns and too much cold may cause blisters. When going out, keeping your face covered with a scarf is recommended to protect your skin from damage.
Having hair on the upper lip is normal, but for a young lady it can be a matter of distress. Stress, hormonal changes and certain medical conditions can cause an increase in hair growth. There are many natural treatments for removing this unwanted hair. A mixture of turmeric and gram flour, applied to the affected area, is an effective remedy for removal of unwanted hair. Rub it off gently in the direction opposite to that of the hair growth when it is completely dry. Repeating this procedure a number of times will reduce the growth of hair considerably. Sugar wax, made by mixing 4 parts of sugar with 1 part of lemon juice and 1 part of water, is another remedy for hair removal. This mixture is boiled while stirring constantly, till all the sugar melts and the mixture turns golden yellow in color. Warm sugar wax is applied to the area and removed using a strip of cloth. This removes the hair from the root, along with dead skin, leaving the area smooth. Sugar waxing is painful and may cause inflammation and redness. A ball of dough made by kneading corn flour, egg and sugar is believed to be successful in removing unwanted hair. Dip the ball in olive oil and roll it repeatedly over the area from which the hair is to be removed. The dough plucks out the hair and the olive oil softens the skin. In both cases, since the hair is removed from the root, it takes longer to grow back. Plucking the hair with a pair of tweezers is a painful and time consuming alternative, as each strand is plucked individually.
