How do you get rid of puffy eyes or bags under eyes?
Puffiness under eyes and the appearance of bags under the eyes are indicative of tiredness and lack of proper sleep. If you have been working too hard, then the bags under your eyes are due to this. You should begin your treatment by first ensuring that you get enough sleep every night. Even if you manage to rest during the day, this does not compensate for the loss of sleep in the night. After only a few days of getting enough sleep you will notice a tremendous improvement in your face. Also, you can use simple home remedies to get rid of puffy eyes. You can also mix one tablespoon of honey to a cup of warm water and then dip a clean cotton ball into this and apply on the skin around the eyes. Wrapping ice cubes in a piece of soft cloth and then applying them on the eyes is also a very easy remedy that you can try.
You can also use cucumber slices to soothe your tired eyes and to remove the puffiness of eyes. Remember to lie down flat when you apply these slices so that they actually touch the skin around your eye. Tea bags are also very effective since the caffeine in them helps reduce the water in the area around the eyes. Steep two tea bags in hot water and then remove and let them cool. Then you can lay them on your closed eyes.
You can also reduce the puffiness under your eyes by using cool water to wash your eyes. Try to wash your eyes as often as possible during the day. Application of Vitamin E oil is also very effective and does help to reduce the puffiness. You can also drop in a handful of chopped parsley into a cup of boiled water.
