How to close facial pores at home using natural treatment
Stretched pores are skin problems, and unfortunately, they are among the toughest to get rid of. These pores are a natural feature of the skin, and they perform some very important functions – releasing sweat from the sweat glands and releasing sebum, a protective, oily substance, from the sebaceous glands. The pores are normally extremely tiny, and are therefore barely noticeable. However, due to various reasons, as we grow older, these pores seem to expand or stretch, giving the skin an unpleasant appearance.
Unfortunately, aloe vera is unlikely to be of much help in getting rid of stretched pores. Aloe is an excellent moisturizer, and offers many other benefits too, but it does not cleanse or exfoliate, neither is it an astringent, and therefore it is useless against this problem. Stretched pores often go hand in hand with oily skin, and if that is the case with you, you first need to be more particular about cleansing your skin regularly. Soap tends to worsen the problem in many cases – it dries the skin, thus prompting it to release still more oil. Therefore, instead of soap, you should try using a cleanser – preferably one with a moisturizing element, as cleansers can also dry the skin. You could also try using a moisturizing soap, or a glycerin soap instead. A good natural cleanser can be prepared by mixing lemon juice and honey.
To exfoliate your skin, getting rid of dead cells and speeding up the growth of new, healthy skin, you can either use a commercially available face scrub, or prepare one yourself. In either case, remember that if the solution or paste contains large chunks of rough material, it will do more harm than good. Commercial products that contain micro beads are also not advisable, as they contain tiny plastic beads that wreak havoc on the environment. A safe, natural, and environment friendly face scrub can be prepared by soaking a little oatmeal in milk for a few hours. You could also add a bit of rice flour to the lemon and honey remedy mentioned earlier.
Finally, you should apply either tomato juice or cucumber juice to your face. This will tighten up the pores and also cleanse your skin. Some people also recommend rubbing a slice of potato on your skin for the same reason. However, you should note that while these remedies will certainly reduce the severity of your problem, they are unlikely to get rid of it completely.
