Pigmentation causes and treatment using olive oil
Almost everyone is on the look out for some kind of miracle product that will help with the reduction of dark pigmentation on a person’s skin. However, it is important to know how to take skin well enough, in order that you avoid the temptation of applying creams heavy with chemicals that might actually do more harm than good to your skin in the long run. Most people ignore their skin and only realize the damage that has been done, once it has reached a critical stage. One of the most damaging factors can be an excessive exposure of the skin to the sun. The sun emits some extremely harmful ultra violet rays that can lead to cell augmentation as well as skin cancer if the skin is exposed to it for long periods of time. The skin has a natural defense strategy that requires it to produce a darker pigmentation of melanin, which is the coloring agent of the skin and is created by cells called melanocytes. The dark texture of the melanin will be directly proportional to the amount and level of exposure of the skin to the ultra violet rays of the sun. As a result, the overall pigmentation of a person becomes much darker than its original shade and ends up leaving a number of people quite concerned, while all of this could have been avoided if you restrict your self from venturing out into the sun, or by even applying some sun block lotion over your body to help the skin defend itself from the sun rays. While the application of olive oil on your skin may not do much to reduce the darkness of your skin complexion, it will do wonders in making your skin look much healthier and smoother. However, you must restrict yourself from using too much of it, as that could just make your skin look extremely oily. Olive oil is extremely rich in reserves of vitamin E and a high intake of the oil will not only show results on the overall look of your skin, but will also greatly improve your overall body health as well. If your ultimate goal is glowing skin, you could also try creating a natural moisturizer by mixing ¾ cup of rose water and 1 teaspoon of vinegar to ¼ cup of glycerin and ¼ cup of honey. Store the mixture in a bottle and use it regularly as a moisturizing lotion for your skin. You should also increase your intake of water to about 3 liters every day.
