How to close face pores using skin scrubbing and reduce blackhead formation.
Scrubbing or exfoliating dead skin and blackheads is one of the most effective ways to get skin with a smooth texture and clear complexion. But other than scrubbing and exfoliating, it’s important to keep your skin protected from the harmful UV rays of the sun to avoid a sun tan. You should therefore always wear sunscreen when you step out of the house during the day, and wear clothes that cover your skin. You can also keep blackheads at bay by making sure that your pores do not enlarge. This will ensure that dirt and dead cells don’t get lodged in the pores and result in blackheads.
A great scrub for exfoliation and your skin care can be made from gram flour, a few drops of lime juice, rosewater, honey, and turmeric. Keep the paste on your skin for 20 minutes and then wash it off with water. Lime has natural bleaching agents that will lighten your skin, turmeric will disinfect it, and honey is a natural moisturizer and antibacterial agent. Another beneficial scrub to take care of blackheads and whiteheads is mixing rice powder and curd. Massage this paste into your skin with a circular motion, let it stay for 15 minutes, and then wash the paste off.
Walnuts are also great for making scrubs to get rid of dead skin and tan. Make a scrub by mixing ¼ cup of finely ground walnut and ¼ cup of yogurt. Wet your face, gently scrub this into your skin, and then cleanse with warm water. If you do this just once a week, you will see the difference in your skin. Potato also has natural bleaching agents. You can apply it in juice, pulp, or slice form on your face. After applying the potato, keep it on for about 15 minutes before washing your face. This will take care of the tan and give you a fair skin complexion. Another great way to get a tan-free complexion and tighten pores to avoid blackheads is to apply tomato, which has astringent qualities. Mix grated tomato and a dash of lime on your face, let it sit for 20 minutes and then wash it off.
However, these regimes by themselves won’t help much if you don’t follow a healthy lifestyle. You must always keep your skin hydrated by drinking lots of water. In addition, exercise regularly, and consume lots of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, nuts, and seeds. Don’t eat oily and spicy food and keep away from stress too. Wash your face twice everyday and apply a good moisturizer.
