Adult Acne Treatment Tips Treatment in the case of adult acne is not very different from the treatment for acne that affects people of various ages.
Acne manifests itself in the form of small pimples. The beginning of acne is usually with blackheads. When oil and dead cells are trapped in a pore, this leads to the formation of blackhead. They turn black when they are exposed to air.
It is when blackheads become inflamed that they turn red and are known as pimples. Touching pimples with dirty hands only lead to their spreading to other parts of the body.
The easiest adult acne treatment involves the application of various pastes and face masks to the affected area. You can make a very simple face mask by applying the white of an egg on your face. Leave it on for some time and then wash it off. A paste made by mixing a tablespoon of cinnamon powder with a few drops of honey is usually very effective in clearing any acne. You should apply this on at night and wash it off only the next morning. Grind a bunch of fresh mint leaves to extract the juice. This juice can be applied on the face at night and washed off in the morning. Use overripe, pulpy tomatoes to get rid of your acne by applying them on your face. This can be left on the face for an hour and then washed off. Peeled and grated raw potato makes an excellent face mask and ensures that the acne clears up. Similarly, the juice and pulp of raw papaya can also help clear up the acne.
Treating Adult Acne
The basic reasons for acne can be traced to bad eating habits. This leads to chronic constipation. When a person suffers for constipation on a regular basis, toxic matters clog the bloodstream. This has the effect of causing eruptions on the skin. While treating adult acne you can help reduce the acne by eating food that contains a high percentage of fiber. This will ensure regular bowel movements and help your skin look healthy. You should also stay away from oily and spicy food and completely avoid processed food. Food that contains a lot of fat, chocolates and all kinds of nuts should be avoided. Fruits can be consumed and fruit juices should be an integral part of your daily intake of food. Vitamin C and Vitamin E are known for their rejuvenating properties and will help your skin look healthy. You should ensure that your diet includes food that is rich in these vitamins. These are the different types of adult acne treatments that you can implement. |
