Homemade Hair Masks


Homemade hair masks involve the use of natural ingredients and is comparatively more effective than most of the common hair conditioners available therefore the biggest advantage of using natural hair masks are that they have no chemicals that may be harmful or damaging for your hair in the long run.



These masks are easy to prepare and take very little time and effort.

Natural hair masks:

•    Coconut cream mask: This made at home hair mask involves the softening of a large quantity of coconut cream in your hands and then massaging it into your hair. You should then wrap your hair in a warm towel or cloth and leave it that way for an hour and then wash your hair out with a gentle shampoo.
 
•    Egg mask: A homemade hair mask that is easy to prepare. Mix two eggs and two spoons of water and apply the mixture to your hair when it is damp.



Make sure to massage the solution in well. Leave it on for about ten- fifteen minutes and then wash your hair thoroughly. You can make use of a lemon rinse to get the smell of egg out of your hair.

•    Banana: For this natural hair care homemade hair mask you will need to mix together one mashed banana , three spoons of honey, three spoons of milk, five spoons of olive oil and an egg. Leave the mixture in your hair for a period of about half an hour and then shampoo and condition your hair.

•    Yogurt: This is one of the more commonly used hair masks. It is prepared by mixing seven spoons of yogurt with the white of an egg which has been beaten. Apply the mask and leave it on for about a half hour. Use a mild shampoo to rinse your hair afterwards.
 
•    Avocado:  Mix together one mashed ripe avocado with a spoon of honey and two spoons of olive oil. Mix them together till the mixture is creamy and then apply it to your hair. Leave the home made hair mask on for about twenty two minutes and then wash it out with a gentle shampoo.

•    Olive oil: An olive oil home hair mask is very effective in nourishing hair. All you need to whisk together five spoons of olive oil and two eggs. Massage it thoroughly into your hair and cover your hair with a shower cap or cloth. Leave it on for about half an hour and then shampoo your hair.

•    Honey and Olive oil: The organic hair mask requires the use of three spoons of olive oil with three spoons of honey. Apply the mask to your hair and wrap you hair with plastic wrap. Wait for about thirty minutes and then shampoo your hair well to remove this homemade hair mask.
