Fungal Infections of the Skin, Fungal Infection Home Remedy

I have an infection on both sides below the nose, I tried all types of fungal creams but the infections do not cure and getting darker and darker - Please suggest cure for fungal infections!

Fungal infections are fairly common problems.

A fungal infection usually breeds in a warm and damp place and the area that you have mentioned seems ideally suited to this kind of an infection. It is surprising that it has not recovered despite the use of various fungal creams. I would advise you to consult a physician in order to get something to treat this infection at once. When you have a fungal infection you will notice that the skin looks red and irritated.

You may feel the urge to scratch yourself and notice the development of blisters. In some cases there is also a white or yellowish discharge from the   sores. All of this not only causes you a great deal of trouble but can also look bad. An infection on your face can especially cause a lot of problems and make it difficult for you to get on with your daily routine.

One of the first things that you should do is to wash the infection with warm water. You can dip a clean cotton swab in the water and gently wash the infected area.  Pat it dry. If it is very painful you can simply let it dry. You can also use a hair drier to ensure that the infected area is completely dry. You should ensure that your hands are always clean and your nails cut short. Hygiene is of primary importance in infections of this nature and you should ensure that you keep yourself very clean. You should bathe daily and dry yourself well. Avoid touching the affected area. Touching the infection can cause it to spread when you use the same hand to touch something else.

You should avoid eating food items like peanuts, chocolate and food stuffs that contain a large amount of sugar. In addition you should stop drinking too much tea and coffee. Instead your daily intake of fluids should increase. You should drink fruit juices and buttermilk in addition to the water that you drink. You should eat plenty of yogurt and fresh fruits and vegetables. Avoid eating spicy food or food that is cooked in lots of oil. You should try to ensure that your daily intake of food contains at least a couple of cloves of garlic since this is known to help cure a fungal infection quickly. You can either eat it raw or ensure that you incorporate it in your cooking.
